在第二學期班親日，本校特別為四年級學生與家長舉辦「親子英語生活通」活動。活動現場氣氛熱絡，學生與家長踴躍參與，在三位外籍教師的帶領下，一同進入充滿趣味的沉浸式英語學習情境，體驗生活化的英語學習。

活動首先從英語大書 《Picky Nicky》 的共讀開始。故事描述一位名叫Nicky的小女孩，她非常挑食，只願意吃義大利麵，卻寧可選擇蜜蜂、鸚鵡等奇怪的食物，也不願意吃健康的蔬菜。外師帶領學生、家長與老師一起進行角色扮演，大聲朗讀書中的句子。透過生動有趣的情節與互動朗讀，不僅提升了學生的英語閱讀興趣，也讓家長實際感受孩子在英語課堂中的學習方式。

接著，外師介紹多種臺灣經典小吃的英語說法，如 oyster omelet、egg cake、scallion pancake、coffin bread 等。學生透過趣味十足的「蒼蠅拍聽打遊戲」反覆練習單字，在歡笑與競賽中加深印象。隨後進行 Food Survey 活動，學生兩人一組練習生活對話：「Would you like some ______?」「Yes, please. / No, thank you.」並將調查結果記錄在表格中，培養實際運用英語進行簡單交流的能力。

活動的最後高潮是「模擬點餐任務」。學生與家長需依照情境進行英語點餐對話，且不能看小抄，必須背出完整句型。從「Hi! What can I get you?」到「I’d like some… please.」「For here or to go?」等對話，大家都努力開口說英語。完成點餐後，還要依照外師說出的價格，數出正確的錢幣付款，成功通過挑戰後才能獲得餐點，順利完成任務。

透過閱讀、遊戲、調查與情境對話等多元活動，「親子英語生活通」不僅讓學生在真實情境中練習英語，也促進了親子共同學習與互動。期待孩子們能將今天學到的生活英語應用在日常對話中，讓英語真正成為溝通與生活的一部分。
During the second semester Family Day, the school held a “English Hour” activity for fourth-grade students and their parents. Three foreign teachers led the class in an immersive English learning environment.

The activity began with reading the big book Picky Nicky. Students, parents, and teachers worked together to role-play the story and read the sentences aloud. Next, students learned the English names of Taiwanese foods such as oyster omelet, egg cake, scallion pancake, and coffin bread. They practiced the words through a fun flyswatter listening game and completed a Food Survey using simple dialogues like “Would you like some…?”

Finally, students and parents took part in a restaurant role-play. They practiced ordering food in English and counted the correct coins to pay for their meals. Through these fun activities, students practiced using English in daily life.
